Seems like the Kings just arent concentrated in any particular fast water spot in any trib and thats the tougher reports I hear from guys. Warming temps and the next spate of water could bring on some big fresh steelhead! A few Kings now are in a spawning mode and likely with the next consistent cool down, therell be a whole lot more. Out of winter hibernation just to keep the pinners honest a med fresh pretty steelhead comes to the dead drift. For now most all waterways are low and clear. Generally the most action has been to the east so thats where most anglers have been heading. The rain thru the end of the past weekend was not enough to cause any great change in trib flows. Be aware the east side Oak Orchard River Point Breeze boat launch is closed for construction (new ramp) so just go the west side launch.. Where I looked anyway it looks like most if not all the icing is gone away, so not expecting any significant upstream fast water sections to be iced in.
